Providence is calling an ObstetricTechnician (OB Tech) (Family Maternity Center, Per Diem (no guaranteed hours or benefits), 0.0FTE, Variable Shifts) to Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Assist with, or perform, according to scope of practice, patient care activities/treatments, according to departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
Demonstrate ability to assume responsibility and accountability as a surgical and obstetrical support person under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Demonstrate ability to maintain adequate supply levels and room readiness.
Demonstrate ability to function as unit secretary.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Completion of accredited surgical technologist program or an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience
Current registration as surgical technologist in the State of Washington
Certified as a surgical technologist
Recent experience as an obstetric (OB) scrub technician or a surgical technologist in an acute care facility
