Currently, we are seeking an experienced CSTs to join our state-of-the-art Operating Room.
With a team of over 200 general and specialty surgeons, Sarasota Memorial’s surgical team is the largest, and most experienced in the region. Our surgical division in our main hospital has 26 operating rooms and performs 15,500 cases per year.
We also have 6 ORs at our free standing ambulatory surgery

Certified Surgical Technologists
Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR / Thoracic
Certified Surgical Technologist - General OR
The CST - CVOR/Thoracic will function in an advanced scrub role for operative procedures either as a CST First Assistant or as a cardiovascular CST. This CVOR CST opportunity requires a current CST certification combined with a minimum of three (3) year CVOR experience. CST First Assist preferred.
The CST - General OR will function in the scrub role for operative and other invasive procedures including establishing and maintaining a sterile field, specimen handling, counts, medications/solutions, implants and instrument processing. May assist with circulating duties under direct supervision of an RN. Prior general OR experience and national CST certification with documented proof of current certification status required.
