MaineHealth is seeking Surgical Technologists in their Waldo County General Hospital, Pen Bay Medical Center, and LincolnHealth locations. Under the supervision of nursing and medicine, this position facilitates the safe and effective provision of invasive surgical procedures, encompassing neonates to geriatric clients. This individual must possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique, and combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures and implementation of tools and technologies to support patient outcomes.
Waldo County General Hospital, Belfast, Surgical Technologist Position:
•Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technologists.
•Certified Surgical Technician.
•One to two years’ experience preferred; however, new graduates will be considered.
