Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is conducting a search for a Certified Surgical Technologist II to provide expert technical patient care during the intra-operative phase in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Functions primarily in the scrub role or assists the circulator to facilitate the efficient and safe progress of surgical cases. Assists with the maintenance of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Serves as a leader, resource, and role model in the provision of quality patient care during the intra-operative phase.
Ideal candidates will be a graduate of a surgical technologist program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or significant hospital/military experience as a surgical teach or scrub tech. Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist required. Two years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist along with Cardiothoracic or vascular experience desired.
