What you will do: As a Surgical Technologist, you will prepare the operating rooms for surgery, as well as, provide technical service and assistance in the operating room.
Maintain infection control precautions when cleaning instruments 100% of the time
Clean all instruments and remove and report damaged/broken instruments
Ensure operating rooms are cleaned and readied for next case immediately following procedure
Ensure all members of the health care team maintain aseptic technique during sterile procedures
Report safety hazards and malfunctioning equipment
Order and stock all needed supplies daily and reports delays in obtaining supplies
What you will need:
Education: Post High School Vocational Specialized training or equivalent on-the-job training from a qualified institution Certification/Licensure/Registration: Surgical Tech certification preferred and CPR certification
