Prepares the operating rooms for surgery using appropriatetechniques. Provides technical services and assists in the operating room asassigned or directed. Overseen by the charge nurse of the operating room.Reports directly to the Director of Surgical Services.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the operating room. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development over the life span. Speaks, reads and writes English.
Graduate of a formal OR technician trainingprogram preferred
