Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is actively seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist, whether in Pediatric or Adult Medicine, to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at our Egleston Campus. In this position, you will assist in providing competent surgical care to patients and families whose healthcare needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex and rapidly changing. The ideal candidate will display technical, organizational, and team skills and act as a clinical resource for the surgical team. He or she will also proactively support efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services, and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
At Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, our OR service line has a collaborative team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, technicians and assistants who provide surgical care to both the inpatient and outpatient populations. Children's staff helps to perform approximately 40,000 surgical procedures a year in our operating rooms. Children’s at Egleston has 11 surgical suites, 3 dedicated open heart surgical suites and 1 minor procedure suite.
Must have graduated from a recognized Surgical Technologist program.
Must have at least one (1) year of CVOR (adult or pediatric) experience.
Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days of employment.
