Surgical Technician Labor and Delivery demonstrates the ability to scrub for Cesarean Sections and other gynecological procedures, set up tables for vaginal deliveries, and manages temperature and specimen log books. Surgical Technician follows and maintains AORN standards regarding OR integrity. Surgical Technician demonstrates ability to use time efficiently by assisting nurses with delivery setup and cleanup; transporting patients; assisting Unit Secretary as needed; and carrying out tasks requested by charge nurse or management team. Surgical Technician is responsible for stocking designated par levels in Labor Room, Recovery Room, Triage Unit and OR on a per shift basis, and effectively prioritizes own workload.
Required: Graduate of Surgical Technician Program.
Preferred: 2 years experience (OB Scrub) preferred for Surgical Technician
