small animal surgical assistant

Looking to employ a veterinary student this summer (June to September 2021) as a small animal surgical assistant in our mobile surgical practice. Duties will include surgical assistant, patient preparation, equipment cleaning and maintenance, surgical record keeping and scheduling. Surgical procedures are performed 5 days/ week, with no on call or after hour responsibilities. Wage of $20+/hour. Large caseload with extensive exposure to specialty surgical procedures. This position is an optimally suited for a first or second year veterinary student that has in interest in small animal surgery.
