Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Certified Surg Technologist I at Overlook Medical Center, to work varied shifts (7am-5pm/7am-8pm) in the Operating Room. No weekends / No calls.

Job Functions:

• Functions to act as a sterile member of the nursing team in the OR and to assist surgeons.
• Proficiently performs the role of surgical technologist.
• Anticpates surgeon's needs for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Maintains sterility.
• Possesses knowledge of surgical equipment and instrumentation.
• Performs counts, handles specimens special equipment and instrumentation for various surgical procedures.
• Follows AHS policy and PRIDE values ot provide excellent customer service.

Education:

• 
  High school diploma required
• Certified Surgical Tech license required
• BLS certification required

Experience:

• 1 or more years of operating room experience with an emphasis on orthopedics, general surgery, eyes and gynecology strongly preferred
