"ABOUT ME": To succeed in this per-diem position, you must be knowledgeable and familiar with surgical instrumentation and current best practices in a surgical setting. This includes preparation of the operating room and sterilization. Strong communication skills and knowledge of current evidence-based practice are essential. If you are comfortable enough to hit the ground running in a new setting, this may be a good fit for you.

Position: Inpatient Surgical Tech

Required Education and Credentials

• Completion of a surgical technologist program required. Must hold current certification and be in good standing with the NBSTSA.
• Current AHA BLS certification. 

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a surgical tech in an inpatient surgical setting within the last year. 
• Must be a resourceful and adaptable individual who takes direction well, is not afraid to ask clarifying questions, and enjoys working with a large team in a fast-paced environment. 
• Experience in general surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery is highly preferred.
