The Certified Surgical Tech is responsible for aseptic technique in OR, setting up the required equipment, instrumentation and sterile supplies as needed for their assigned cases: scrubbing and pasing instruments and equipment during procedures; pulling cases as needed, breaking down cases at the end of the procedure, sets up operating room and supplies as needed for day/following day's schedule. Available for call on an assigned/scheduled basis as required by unit need. Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Education - Graduate of a CAAHEP program
Minimum Experience - 1 year in a clinical setting
Required Certification/Licensure - Certification as a Surgical Technologist and American Heart Association BLS
Preferred Certifications - Certification through National Baord of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
