Summary

Certified Surgical Tech performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the operating room. Certified Surgical Tech performs similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned.

• Graduate of a formal accredited surgical technician-training program.
• Graduate of a formal accredited training program
• Surgical technology certification required.
• CPR certification.
