Graduate of an accredited program of surgical technology recognized by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) required and one (1) year of relevant experience.
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
Candidates must be able to work 36 hours (three 12-hour shifts) or 40 hours (four 10-hour shifts) per week for a 12 week contract. Holidays and weekends will be required.
