Summary Surgical Technician / Surgical Tech assists with the nursing care of the patients in the OR by performing routine and delegated duties according to the standards of practice and policy and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse at all times. Serves as a scrub nurse, but not independently as a circulating nurse. Other duties of a Surgical Technician / Surgical Tech includes stocking, replenishing, preparing, and/or selecting supplies and equipment for storage or use during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technician / Surgical Tech assists with housekeeping functions to maintain cleanliness in the OR. Activities are directed toward achieving desired patient outcomes.The Surgical Technician / Surgical Tech demonstrates the ability to inter
