Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Secretary/Scrub Technician position in the Mother Baby Unit at Newton Medical Center. This role will scrub for cesarean sections as well as function as a Unit Associate. The shift for this position is 5:00 pm -11:30 pm including every other weekend.Responsibilities Be able to function as a scrub technician for obstetrical casesPrepares and maintains sterile fieldAnticipates surgeons needs during proceduresReporting changes in patients' condition to the RN and providing emotional support to patients and their familiesProvide secretarial support at the department's main desk, complete birth certificates in the VIP system, order supplies, and maintain surgical suite's supplies and equip
