The Health Aide - Surgical Technician (ST) is located in the Operating Room (OR) within Nursing Service at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. The ST is a member of the surgical team and provides assistance to the surgeon and other healthcare team members during surgical procedures and perioperative preparation. The ST participates with the surgical team in planning and implementing complex procedures under the general supervision of the surgeon and registered nurse.
