We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Surgical Tech with excellent dexterity to work alongside the nurse supervisor, ensuring surgeries are executed as smoothly and efficiently as possible to improve patient experience, operational processes, and positive patient outcomes. Working under the direction of the nurse manager, you will perform all the necessary pre-, intra-, and post-operative measures including:
Performing perioperative scrub techniques, assisting in surgery and post-surgical nursing care
Maintaining records and stocking adequate supplies for surgery
Adhering to Infection Control protocols, and regulatory agencies/JCAHO standards
To qualify, you must have:
A High School Diploma or GED
Successfully completed an accredited surgical technologist program
At least 1 years’ experience working in a perioperative healthcare setting
BCLS and Surgical Technologist certifications
Effective oral and written communication skills and proficiency in arithmetic
