Description

Under the direction of the Family Birthing Center Director and or Charge Nurse, and RegisteredÂ Nurse designated patient care provider, performs a variety of duties preparing for, assisting during and cleaning up after surgical procedures.Â Provides patient care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent successful completion of approved school of surgical technology.
Â A minimum of one (1) year of hospital experience is preferred. (Requires on-the-job multi-component training.)
On-going certification with Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) and/or National Board of
Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).

Hours: Full-Time, NightsÂ

Unit: Mother/Baby
