Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per diem Certified Surgical Tech for the Operating Room at Newton Medical Center to work 7am-7pm, including on-call.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Surgical Technologist works as part of the OR Team
• 4 Room plus Cysto plus Operating Room
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• May require standing for long periods of time, and have the ability to lift at least 25 pounds
• Must be able to work flexible hours and take call

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology

Minimum Experience:

• 1 year experience strongly preferred

License/Certifications:

• Surgical Technician Certification required
• BLS Certification
