Surgical Technology Program Director Job Description The Surgical Technology Program Director must be responsible for all aspects of the program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of the program. Program specific responsibilities of the surgical technology program director are as follows: Responsible for all administrative aspects of the program. Supervises the Surgical technology program on a daily basis. Preparation of accreditation documentation. Teaching and overseeing the students’ core courses and laboratory practices. Oversees and coordinates all clinical education by working with clinical preceptors and visiting/instructing at the clinical sites
