Dental Surgical Assistant
Dental Assistant-Senior serves as dental surgical assistant in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) within the College of Dentistry; provides direct, hands-on assistance throughout a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures working for a variety of faculty and resident surgeons; works with dental students; performs x-ray functions; responsible for infection control; prepares and distributes instruments; supports community outreach efforts; stocks supplies; works off-site as scheduled; participates in the establishment and maintenance of a positive, professional, and patient-centered workplace; committed to completion of patient care regardless of pre-assigned work hours; may work occasional scheduled or unscheduled overtime as necessitated by patient car
