DescriptionSummary:The Surgical Technician-Certified assist the Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for administering direct patient care, treatments as ordered by the physician and administering medication as outlined by hospital policy and procedures.Requirements:A. Education/Skills· Hired before September 1, 2009 – Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology or at least one year of verified scrub tech experience. Hired after September 1, 2009 – Graduate from an accredited school of Surgical Technology required. B. Experience · Six months experience preferredC.
