DescriptionSummary:Under the guidance of the Director/Manager, accountable for the following; develops schedules for the unit within budgeted statistics; updates associate files, skills check lists and competencies; In conjunction with Education department develop skills lab and related competencies; develops documentation to support program; Oversees mentoring of new staff. Provides input on evaluations. The Coord Surgical Techs manages day to day issues, working with staff, patients, and doctors. Ensures patient care assignments are safe. Identifies complex clinical issues and develops staff to provide excellent clinical care. Provide direct patient care as directed by the manager. Take call for the unit as assigned.
