Position Information:
The Surgical Technologist First Assist OR will support the continuity of care for Perioperative patients. The scope of practice includes preoperative patient chart review intraoperative surgical first assisting postoperative application of surgical dressing and assisting with transfer from the intraoperative suite. Responsible for providing patient care for all ages and provide leadership and direction to the perioperative team where needed. Collaborates with the surgeon and the health care team in performing a safe operation with optimal outcomes. Practices in collaboration with and at the surgeon's direction during the intra-operative experience.

Experience Requirements:
10 Years Related Position Experience In Healthcare Required

Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Associate's Degree Surgical Technology Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified Surgical First Assistant Required

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday 10 hours

Weekend Requirements:
Every Third
