As a Surgical Tech at our specialized eye surgery practice, you’ll play a crucial role in every procedure, anticipating the surgeon’s needs and ensuring swift, accurate delivery of instruments. You'll manage essential tools, including sponges, needles, and blades, and coordinate with the circulating nurse to verify counts at the beginning and end of each case. This role combines precision, teamwork, and the chance to make a real impact in vision care with each successful surgery!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for surgeries by reviewing schedules and organizing supplies.
• Assist in setup, draping patients, and managing the instrument table.
• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures, keeping a sterile and orderly environment.
• Conduct instrument, sponge, and needle counts before and after each case.
• Support infection control and safety protocols.
• Aid in preparing for the next case as needed.

Location: Rochester, NY

Hours: M-F, 40 hours per week with either 5 8-hour or 4 10-hour shifts

Salary & Benefits: $25-30/hr plus benefits that include FULLY COVERED single health insurance, dental insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and retirement plan.

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential or equivalent training.
• Minimum 1-year OR experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
