Scope of PositionThe Lead Surgical Technologist functions as an integral member of a team of care providers in the Operating Rooms of the PerioperativeServices at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institutes (OSUCCCJames).The surgical teams reflect a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm, and mutual respect. The team, consisting of the Surgeon,Anesthesiologist, Registered Nurse (RN), Surgical Technologist (ST) Student Surg Tech (SST), Anesthesia Technician and Office Assistants,provide patient care and supportive services that are directed towards achievement of maximizing patient care outcomes, improving customerservice levels, reducing the length of hospitalization, and decre
