DescriptionSummary:Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, performs all processes that relate to the delivery of direct and assistive quality patient care in the C-section room or delivery room. Is a member of the surgical team and scrubs and assists surgeons as directed. When not assisting with a delivery, the tech will assist with answering call lights and telephones; will pick up meal trays and return them to Nutrition Services; will keep triage room ready for patients, including but not limited to changing linen, cleaning bed space, and emptying trash.
