Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY The OB Surgical Technologist assists the OB/GYN physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, and RNs in both clinical and clerical duties. The OB Surgical Techs perform selected patient care tasks within the Labor and Delivery setting under the supervision of nursing including but not limited to preparing patients and equipment for special obstetrical surgical procedures, assisting the obstetrical surgical team as a scrub during Cesarean Sections and other surgical procedures in Labor and Delivery, maintaining surgical and other equipment and ensuring adequate supply levels for the Labor and Delivery OR at all times.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
