Role Overview 

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you’ll play a critical role in the operating room—ensuring surgical procedures run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll work alongside skilled surgeons and nurses in high-performance environments. 

Responsibilities 

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments 

• Assist during procedures with instrument handling and sterile technique 

• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments 

• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols 

• Collaborate with perioperative teams to optimize patient outcomes 

Qualifications 

• NBSTSA Certification (Required) 

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association accredited) 

• Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program 

• Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience 

• Specialty experience in Ortho, Neuro, CVOR, or Robotics preferred 

• Strong communication and teamwork skills 

Compliance Requirements 

• Background check and drug screening 

• Immunization records (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, COVID) 

• TB test and physical exam (within 12 months) 

• HIPAA and harassment training certificates
