SUMMARY OF POSITION:It is expected that all Surgical Technicians will function as members of a team dedicated to support the highest quality care and service to our patients, physicians and other associates. As an integral part of the team, the Surgical Technician is responsible to scrubs for and assists in various types of surgical procedures and provides the necessary instrumentation, supplies and equipment for operations. The Surgical technician assists in nursing care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
