OB/Surgical Technologist
The OB/Surgical Technologist works closely with the Charge Nurse to meet unit needs as changes occur throughout the shift. Works closely with the labor nurse setting up rooms, assisting with positioning during epidural placement, during second stage of labor, and at time of delivery. Assists the RN immediately after delivery and during entire recovery period under RN supervision. May help in transporting patients as needed.
