About the Program Pima Community College Surgical Technology Program's mission is to empower every Surgical Technology student, every day, for the goal of becoming a competent Certified Surgical Technologist. At the base of our mission is providing educational opportunities through learner-centered teaching, scholastic mentoring, and community partnerships. We are committed to developing lifelong learners by facilitating the learning process, through critical thinking and inquiry.
