St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join our Boise Hospital Surgical Services team.

Unit/Position SummaryThe Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for identifying and securing instrumentation and equipment needed for invasive proceduresand demonstrating proficient use and implementation of the same.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties to assist a surgeon during surgery.
• Assists in patient care related activities.
• Organizes and coordinates supplies, equipment, and team members to maintain an efficient, and safe intraoperative environment.
• Serves as a resource to surgical team regarding surgeon preferences.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: HS or GED.
• Experience: None
• Licenses/Certifications: Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
