St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Full-time Certified Surgical Tech to join our Boise Hospital Surgical Services team.
Unit/Position SummaryThe Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for identifying and securing instrumentation and equipment needed for invasive proceduresand demonstrating proficient use and implementation of the same.
Performs a variety of duties to assist a surgeon during surgery.
Assists in patient care related activities.
Organizes and coordinates supplies, equipment, and team members to maintain an efficient, and safe intraoperative environment.
Serves as a resource to surgical team regarding surgeon preferences.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education: HS or GED.
Licenses/Certifications: Current certification in one of the following: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) through the National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA); or Surgical Assistant Certified (SA-C) through the American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA)
