Position Summary

**Full-time Mon-Fri Days, 6:30a-3:00pm **

This position performs a variety of technical functions and duties to provide for availability of supplies and equipment and maintains sterile field for operating procedures.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Required)
• Completion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience (Required)

Experience

• One year Surgical Technician experience in a surgery setting. (Preferred)
• Experience with pediatric patient populations. (Preferred)

Certifications

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery ? Certified from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) (Required)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
