Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Surgical Services team in the Operating Room!
Description:
The selected candidate will provide knowledgeable, safe and effective care to patients during intraoperative period, and effectively interact with patients and health care team members while maintaining the surgical department standards. Additionally, will ensure knowledgeable and appropriate decontamination, cleaning and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program
Surgical Technology Certification required within 6 months of hire
BLS certification required
Certification in Central Sterile Processing preferred
At least 1 year experience preferred
Hours:
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. On call responsibility for other shifts, holidays, and weekends as assigned. May work other hours for the effective operation of the department.
