The Surgical Technologist assists in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment, and functions as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures. In addition to performing the duties of the Surgical Technologist, the Senior Surgical Technologist functions in a specialty service and utilizes and troubleshoots service implementation and equipment and is a resource to the Surgical Technologists.The UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland (OR) consists of 11 surgical suites and 1 procedural.Walnut Creek has two surgical suites and one special procedure room.Our primary focus is multidisciplinary team-based approach and staffing.Services include, but are not limited to: Neurology, Ortho/Spine, Otolaryngology, Urology
